I have been registered on wordpress.org since May 2006, the year after I started working with WordPress. Since then my relationship with the project has not stopped at using it. I have published plugins in the official repository and contributed to the documentation.
My profile carries the Plugin Developer and Documentation Contributor badges.
It is not a shop window, it is the piece of work I give back to a tool I have built everything on since 2005.

On the wordpress.org forums I leave a different kind of contribution. When I run into a bug or a compatibility problem in a plugin on live sites, I report it to the author with the steps to reproduce it and follow the discussion through to the fix.
